Hobby and Interest

Talking about my hobby and interest. I have a huge interest in music and language.
I am 18 now and I have been playing & taking piano course since I am 4 years old so... 14 years.  And I have been serving in Church for at least 5 years as a keyboardist since I am on Grade 9.
That's a lot of time huh?
I even thought to take music as my major in college.
But because of my family economic issue (since majoring in music will take much money), I need to bury that dream for a while (maybe I can take it later if I get the scholarship) and taking hotel and tourism as my major instead.

And I don't know why... For the last 2 years maybe... My passion for music isn't as big as before...
I know it's practically my fault that I'm not great at playing the piano because I rarely practice and that's my problem.
But I keep on judging my economic issues instead. Because if I had enough money I could get a chance to take 2 piano courses not just 1, like the other pro.
But no. I perfectly know that's it's just my passion that's gone. And I need to get it back.
Other than piano. I know how to play guitar, just a bit though. And I love to sing even though I know that my voice is just so-so.

And for my interest in language.
I have a dream to travel all around the world. And I thought that maybe a translator or a tour guide might be the right job for me if I want to make my dream come true.
So I start to have an interest in learning languages other than English and Chinese because I already learned both languages since I was an elementary school either it's from school or from courses.
Currently, I have been taking languages course in ILC (International Language Course) and that course used to allow the students to take 7 languages whenever we want.
But as times goes on, that course getting more and more inconsistent and have many problems.
Many local and native teacher stops teaching, many students stop coming, and many parents complain.
I am getting busier with my university too and rarely come, so I have been left behind and forget many things.
In the beginning, I took English, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and German. But now I took a break in French because for me it's too hard to learn the pronunciation and I gave up...
Maybe someday, I will be happy to learn it again if I get enough time...

So the lesson for today ... I need to increase my motivation both in practicing piano and learning languages because if I am not practicing nor reviewing on my own at home, all the courses won't be any use. Hope I can find lots of motivation soon so my dream will come true 😥
